  both sides presented their arguments and now the judges will write an opinion (30 to 90 days).

  I remember that all Congregation Elders were told to destroy all personal notes and evidence concerning anything to do with child abuse in the congregations, and nothing was to be left in the congregation files.
  What if the WTBTS actually destroyed their records as well?

  It would therefore by physically impossible for them to produce the list.

  Where would that put them from a legal point of view?

  Well, I was "triggered" (TM Phizzy) by the money grab, and that followed on to "The BIGGEST step, .... to allow myself to start investigating the faith..." (TM Stuckinarut).

  That led on to learning about the sex abuse,....... the list is very long. But the trigger came from the Borg itself.

  large article at the top of page 20 in today's - 6th november 2016 - sunday observer, the 'sister' newspaper in the uk of the guardian which only prints monday to saturday.. the national society for the prevention of cruelty to children - nspcc - is the uk's leading children's charity, specialising in child protection and are the only uk children's charity with statutory powers and that means they can take action to safeguard children at risk of abuse.. the headline in the web version is slightly different, but the rest of the article appears to be the same.

  If the GB changed a major teaching, would all witnesses just go along with it?

  so if the gb changed its "bible based beliefs" on some teaching, would witnesses all of a sudden change their individual beliefs too?.

  witnesses like to claim that "their bible trained hearts and minds" make them believe as they do, but we know that the reality is that all witnesses hold their "deep seated beliefs" according to what they have been told to believe.. so what would cause the average witness to question those that dictate their "personal convictions"??.

  tl;dr: if you live either in scotland or in other parts of uk and you don't mind traveling, you might be able to help a fellow ex-jw by being present during a courtcase where she alone has to face more than two dozens of jws who have ruined their business.

  about a month ago, i purchased arabic/english gospels of john that contain a commentary for muslims.. .

  i went to one of my neighbors and spoke to him and gave him one.

  fast forward to today, my brakes need done so i took my car to the shop, walking back into my street i saw my friend abdullah outside.. .

  When I was "In" as a dub, my experience with Muslims was that they will not convert because every other Muslim then has the right to kill them.

  I had a study with man from Afghanistan, he stopped he was threatened with retribution (death), and a man Pakistan, he was also threatened with death and stopped.
